Ksenia Sobchak is Samsung's face in Russia, and he is required to use Samsung-branded smartphones.
However, Sobchak used an iPhone X during a television ad, trying to hide the contraband behind a piece of paper.
Samsung is now suing the brand ambassador for the equivalent of $ 1.6 million.
It is not unusual for brands to pay celebrities for their products. Some brands even pay celebrities mountains of cash to only use the products of that company, at least when they are in a public environment.

Samsung is one of those companies and has paid celebrities such as musician Adam Levine and tennis star David Ferrer to use Samsung's smartphones. However, both celebrities were captured using iPhones instead.

Apparently, Samsung has finished wasting time, as the company has sued the last ambassador of the Samsung brand that has been captured with an iPhone for an amount of 108 million Russian rubles (~ $ 1.6 million), through The Mirror

Ksenia Sobchak is the face of Samsung in Russia, journalist, politician and star of the Russian reality show, and the so-called "goddaughter" of Russian President Vladimir Putin. As such, you are paid to use exclusively Samsung's electronics publicly. However, in a recent live television season, you can clearly see Sobchak using an iPhone, probably an iPhone X, although it is difficult to be 100% sure.

Sobchak did his best to use his fingers to hide the Apple logo and then use a piece of paper to hide it on the table:

For Samsung credit, the potential fine of $ 1.6 million is not for a first offence: apparently, it has been discovered that Sobchak is using an iPhone in public on multiple previous occasions.

AppleInsider speculates that the $ 1.6 million fine is actually more than what Samsung is even paying, which is pretty brutal.

However, it is difficult to feel sorry for someone who earns millions simply by using a type of smartphone and then messes up. Seriously, I am a diehard Android fan and will use what Apple wants for millions of dollars. I will make a tattoo with the Apple logo. In my face.
