A strange mistake on Facebook that randomly displays old messages to users and many people are horrified

If you are surprised by the appearance of your old Facebook conversations, you are not alone. Since yesterday, many social network users have complained that Facebook presents them with notices of old conversations for years as if they were new conversations.
The problem appears to only affect users who have logged in from the computer to Facebook.com. Where many people went to Twitter to report this strange event and complain of the uneasiness that makes them repeat conversations that many people may not want to see again.



Facebook has confirmed that there is an error caused by software updates in its system causing some people to receive old messages again, and says that after a few hours they solved the problem completely.
If you end up responding to the 2014 conversations as new messages, you may feel a bit cynical. Facebook messages are stored permanently, and unless you manually delete your records, they will be saved for years and years in Facebook servers.
