Last week, we commented that we would soon be able to use the expected functionality to erase messages in the Facebook Messenger application, and only a few days later, Facebook began to allow deletion of messages sent in the application, although the feature is not yet universally available.

If you are not familiar with this new feature, it is a feature that allows us to remove those messages that we sent in error, as long as it does not take more than 10 minutes to send them. The feature will work with all types of messages, even those containing images. Of course, like platforms like Watsab, Facebook will tell the receiver that we deleted the message.
The job we are talking about is available from the moment in Bolivia, Colombia, Lithuania and Poland, although the social network confirms that it will be available in other areas as soon as possible. In addition, Facebook plans to launch new related features, such as setting expiry dates in messages sent to disappear after a certain time of transmission.
Simply when you want to remove any message that you sent by mistake you will click on it and you will see some options, including remove for everyone which will delete the message on the hook and another option to delete it only you.

It is an exciting feature on Facebook. Looking back, it is strange to think that the social network promised to launch this feature after we learned that Facebook had scanned some of Mark Zuckerberg's private messages, That would not be available for the rest.
